NHL Greener Rinks
I.B. Storey Group of Companies is proud to contribute to the NHL Green’s new initiative Greener Rinks released released March 13, 2017 as part of NHL Green Week.
As part of the NHL Greener Rink Initiative, we attended the the Declaration of Principles Summit held this winter during the NHL All Star Weekend in Tampa. This summit highlighted the NHL’s This is Hockey initiatives to grow the game for future generations.
Additionally, in March the NHL released the 2018 Sustainability Report building upon their 2014 Sustainability Report outlining their mission and future measures for the environmentally sustainability of the sport and arena facilities.

I.B. Storey present leading Industrial plastics facility with check from local funding agency for efficiency upgrades implemented
Maple Leaf Foods and I.B. Storey Inc. complete energy saving projects
Maple Leaf Foods and I.B. Storey Inc. are pleased to announce the completion of a major energy efficiency project at the Thamesford Maple Leaf Foods location. This work will save a total of 524,401 kilowatts (kWh) of energy each year. The Independent Electricity Systems Operator (IESO) offers incentives for companies to complete these types of projects and the total incentive provided to Maple Leaf Foods was $170,665.
