Since 2005, I.B. Storey has been actively involved RETScreen International (Natural Resources Canada), having been contracted as a member of the expert development team to assist with the design of their world-renowned software tools. Other members of the team are industry, government and academic leaders, including NASA as a major partner on the project.
Recreational facilities have unique and more complicated needs than typical commercial buildings due to their multiple uses and systems. I.B. Storey has completed comprehensive energy audits of over 50 recreational facilities in the past three years and is regularly requested to provide conference sessions and educational seminars on efficiency and best practices in the recreational and municipal government sectors.
